Thanks. Also they are the stock rims 235/45/17 that came with the car they do look like cheap hub caps from some angles though.

No No, don't get me wrong, an honest mistake on my part!

Had a CSV come into work one day with exactly the same looking wheels but it turned out they were wheel trims over the top of a set of Simmons wheels!

Nar don’t worry a lot of people think there hub caps until they look closer…
Why would anyone want to cover up simmons rims? I would love to come across a set simmons rims down the track when I have a bit more money to throw the car.

Could not stand the sound quality of the cheep head unit that the previous owner put init (just to sell it I would guess) went out a got a new old stock pioneer (DEH-9350SD) got all the goodies usb ipod/sd/mp3-wma/3.5mm jack input also comes with 3 rca per-outs only thing it does not have is blue tooth don’t need it never used it in my wagon that’s got it so wont need it in this. I am wanting to do a few more little things before giving it a full system amps subs well you have got the idea…

Small update ripped out the old air box and put in a new one took around 30min to get it in looks a lot better and gives it a bit better sound as it is now getting more air for some strange reason the owner before me had removed the factory otr and found a bit of water pipe to try to act as a air ram sticking out the front of the bumper…

The old setup

Was going to go look at pedders and see what there thoughts are just need to save up some cash was going to do some after tax have to wait to see how that goes…

I had look at the club sponsors there is a pedders on the list out at ridgehaven it’s on the other side of town to me but I might go for a drive out there to see what they say the 15% club discount might make up for the drive out there… I also need to get around to joining the club first, was going to bring the membership form down last cruise but forgot to bring it have to do it next time I’m on one…

Better do an up date for this since i did one for the wagon, after sitting under the car port for the last 3 moths with no rego on it i finally got around to getting it out and spending a bit of money on it with a a full service with all leads, plugs and belts then the diff, trans and engine oils done also replaced the centre mufflers and cats and it is felling and sounding like a new car still need to spend a bit on all the suspension and panel damage but it is getting there. Yesterday i ran the rca and power leads for the sound system to the boot was going to hook the rest up today but just can not be bothered today so hoping to do it next week Smile

Might come for a drive tomorrow to have a look out elizabeth for the show n shine if i get time Cool , i will also bring this out in a couple of weeks for the next curies if i'm not working that night Very Happy
