well it has been 7 months since new committee was voted in and there has been no meeting i am paid up until august and heard nothing from the club at ALL this is a disgrace as this club would have been cerebrating 20 years this new committee is very lax and a lot of people are laughing about it i think this committee should get it's act together instead of keeping members in the dark like mushrooms and fed bullshit or lack of communication and the things that go on Facebook i do not see as i cant get on page and also there are members that don't even own computers so they are as much in the dark as me

This is always a touchy subject. Members and clubs aren't like they used to be. People today are struggling to find time let alone money to A) modify their car(s) and B) join a club and be an active member. Committee isn't a once a month thing either. As an ex committee member of the other commodore club I can tell you that it eats up alot of your spare time and sometimes you don't have a moment to change things on the site. Being a member of HCC for 3 years and committee for 2 ended up costing me my relationship with my partner of 11 years. I was never around, running off doing events, cruises, shows, sponsor liasion and meetings all ate up my time.

Give these guys a chance and hopefully things will turn around. They might not have as much spare time as previous committee to keep the forum active, but that's also partly members resposibility too. Chatting on posts and starting threads that provoke discussion are a good way to breath life back on here.

It's a two way street so let's all do our part.
