2013 Events Calender

I realise the year is almost half done but figure an events calendar will still be useful to the club,
If you know of an event not listed (will be plenty as this has been done in a rush :/ ) please send me a P.M including as many details of the event as possible and I will check it out and add it to the calender, bare in mind for an event to be deemed worthy of setting up a club display we will need to have decent numbers wanting to get involved, for shows like extreme, we will need decent numbers of very good cars for the inside display and then some decent cars to display outside

Any idea on Cruise for Charity this year? I missed last year but would love to jump back into it to help the kids out.

If we get enough interest i'll be happy to make a pre meet cruise for C4C 2013

just contacted liam at street commodores to get some dates and any further info, but if someone else can fill this in any earlier please don't hesitate

In 2weeks time is the 10th anniversary of the kadina show n shine

just called Lynette (organiser) and she has said that we can get the form for the people that will be interested sent to her by next Friday at the latest,

It's also Lynette's last year as this events organiser as she is stepping down

Entry is $20 and that gets you into 2 events plus free entry into the peoples choice/organiser choice and best car club

C4C IS ON THIS YEAR IN ADELAIDE

24th of November it is going to happen, get all your friends keen for this as this year it is not make restricted, all makes and models are encouraged to join,
the charity for this year is Camp Quaity and we want to make as big of a donation to this cause as we possibly can, get around it and get the news spread,

Remember guys for shows and events we really need people to stand up and put their names forward before the date so we have a reason to enter a club display so either put a post up saying what event you wanna be a part of, or send me a P.M and I will put you're name on the attendance section

no worries man, Unless we can get some high calibre cars ( and I mean HIGH calibre) to come out of hiding it will be an outside display for sure, if we can get at leats 5 decent cars i'll set up a club display for outside

TBH mate, it needs to be worthy of an inside position at extreme, what more can I say
high level of engine work and a detailed engine bay, preferably hidden wiring as much as possible, custom or at least high level of cleanliness and attention to detail of the interior, same with the outside
paint and panel would have to be near on perfect as the inside is basically a show arena for some of the best cars in adelaide

Yeh thats true n I admit mine still needs engine bay TLC lol repaint n alk braid is comin in near future. . Keep eye out

don't get me wrong man, we have some good quality street cars in the club that I would love to be able to get together for an outside club display at almost any show that comes up in or around Adelaide,
but the really good ones that need their own spot inside the hall are few and far between,
unfortunately due to a multitude of reasons (some we can control some we can't) people just aren't willing to get out and about with their pride and joy's ATM

That's great Shane, be sure to get them involved aswell, and also get across to the poll in the events section for the next up coming cruise and vote for which day you'd like it to be if you haven't already

We'll see you at the drags mate, i'll be there with my vz clubby and the missus will be there in the ssv ute as my support vehicle (just wanted to get it into the pits instead of her having to walk through the gates like everyone else that's spectating, plus gives me somewhere to hide my tools and parts while i'm on the track
