my new work vehicle

cost $128,000
make Hubtex
model MD 30
type side lift
power 24 volt
max speed 8kmh
4 wheel steering

ok so by now your thinking WTF,
it's a forklift we just had delivered and my new toy at work.
i took some photos and will explain what everything does under each one
so here we go

this is what it looks like

this is how you get in and out seat is on a pivot with locking device and pressure sensor so if your not on the seat and its not locked in place all power is disconnected to wheels and lifting mechanism.

jafo's work vehicle 006-3
accelerator and brake pedals recessed into floor

jafo's work vehicle 007-2
rearview mirror and camera monitor 2 cameras atm 3rd coming
as when you have a long load you cant see the end of it while driving forward

jafo's work vehicle 003-4
this is the joystick that controls the tines and mast and wheel direction
the buttons are horn/tines close/tines open/two arrows not used/T traction control/the button in the centre is your direction switch as well as the buttons on the dash monitor in next photo.

forward reverse
jafo's work vehicle 003-5
normal steering mode when wheels turn so do these on monitor
jafo's work vehicle 004-3
crab walk good for reversing away from racking and other things
jafo's work vehicle 005-4
360 mode for turning on the spot

also has left and right motion but i forgot to take a photo of that

jafo's work vehicle 005-3
this is the steering wheel tiny little thing but very touchy

jafo's work vehicle 010-2
battery pack 24 volt all the tubing is to fill with fluid if a cell gets low just hook up the hose to the bottle of distilled water and auto fill takes over when the gauge stops spinning remove hose batteries are full simple really
all the caps with the white dots are the water level gauges if a cell is low the dot drops down and you know you need water.

if your wondering where the key is there isn't one it works on security code you need to punch into it before you drive it every driver has their own code
so far has only done 8 hours since new so still getting used to it but is great fun to drive.
