well i would like to say after fixing the tailshaft i thought of fixing the bonnet were the fiberglass had cracked so after thinking i resprayed the car and this is what it looks like now.
i think it turned out quite nice as a sprayed it myself if anyone says doing a paint job like this is easy well i have news for them it was the hardest paint job i have ever done but it come out just the way i wanted it to the only thing i have to to is wait 2 weeks then cut and polish the whole thing. there is 4 coats of undercoat, 4 coats of white, 4 coats of red for flames, 5 coats of clear.

Most VN/VP's had 14's stock. Could get a different tyre placard.....not all cops would fall for that one tho.

That reminds me of the first cruise of 2006... where i got pulled over in Tanunda & confusing the hell out of the so called policeman and convincing him that i was infact allowed to not only tuck half of the rim at the rear but also have 19" wheels too cheers All on a VP calais.

Good old 17" tyre placard, never been picked up on it either Smile

I told my mate about getting another tyre placard coz he got defected in his VP for 18's. I told him to get one which shows 16's on it, coz it's best not to get one which shows them to big otherwise even a dumb cop would work it out. He ended up getting some sort of VE one which had 3 different sizes on in, 18's 19's and 20's lol. I was there when the cop went over the car, and it passed lol.
