Well what a bad turn out i would like to say thankyou to the 11 members who made the effort to come out tonite
and also i would like to say thankyou to the members who had notified me that they wont be there
but overall i am pretty disappointed that pazz, kim and myself bent over backwards and put all the hard work
into putting the event on and no one had the balls to turn up and yes i am not happy
the club tonite has paid out $160 to make this event happen and we have wasted club funds that are not easy to get,
prizes were bought total $100 and supper was organized total $60 what a waste we had to pay for the
supper even though we had to cancel the event
what a disgusting turnout from the members who did not bother to turn up
why do we bother ?????

well in response to a few things on this topic the event was on the scroll on the top of the forum and i agree with jason i wonder why the same few people bend over backwards to do things to try to have some social events for all to enjoy and to have just a hand full of people turn up and yes this had to be canceled due to a lack of people turning up and it cost the club money we realy don't have to waste, BUT I DO SAY A VERY BIG THANKYOU TO THOSE WHOM DID COME OUT FOR THE NIGHT ( OR LET US KNOW THAT THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO ATTEND )AND TO THE NEW MEMBERS THAT WERE THERE I APPOLOGISE FOR THE EVENT BEING CANCELED HOPEFULLY MORE MEMBERS WILL COME OUT FOR THE NEXT EVENT, and if anyone is wondering i am very angry about this and it is very disappointing.

Well once again I am disappointed by the members of this club. Out of the 118 financial members we currently have only 11 members showed up to this ( 4 of these committee members). These events are planned months in advance and are done for the benefit of the members and to provide a social aspect to the club. After spending many hours working on questions and activities for the night and Kim and Jason putting the effort in to get prizes for the night we are becoming increasingly frustrated by the number of events that are being cancelled. Even worse this event has cost the club money. This means this type of event will no longer be done without asking for deposits from members first.

We have constantly stated that the members need to let us know what they want to do and got hardly any feedback. Do we stop trying to come up with different ideas?

If we take out the events that have been cancelled due to low numbers we are left with day cruises and car shows. Is that what you as members want to do?
Would certainly make the committee's job much easier if this is all we do. Would make this a very boring club though.

Thanks to the few that showed up

Well i would just like to say a big thankyou to those that did turn up tonight and a really big thanks to Pazz, Jason and Kim for trying their best to organise this event for this club. We as a committee try hard to do things for every one to come along to and enjoy. It is very frustrating to keep organising these events and then have to cancel due to lack of members turning up. As Pazz has stated maybe we should just have a boring club and just do the day cruises and shows as we get a few more members out to these.....It is up to the club members to let us all know what you want to do as a club. We can not afford to keep cancelling events like these. Once again thanks to those that did turn up, but very dissapointed that out of 118 members we only get the same few people out to these events. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Hey Trev, there was enough ( just ) to go on the cruise but I asked all there if they wanted to go and the majority voted not to go. I cant make people go on a cruise if they dont want to.

BLOODY HELL IT MAKES THE CLUB LOOK LIKE HICKVILLE,ALL WE DO IS BAG EACH OTHER.

LETS DEAL WITH THIS IN HOUSE.

LASTLY LONG WEEKEND NOT A GOOD TIME TO HAVE EVENTS,A LOT OF PEOPLE DO GO AWAY.

AND YES I DID LET PEOPLE KNOW I WAS NOT COMING BEFORE ANY TOSSER WANTS TO HAVE A GO.

I MAY JUST PULL MY MENBERSHIP AS WELL. AM GETTING PISSED WITH IDLE TRIVEL CLAP TRAP ON THIS FORUM.
LETS USE THIS TO INFROM AND CONVAY FUN AND POSSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE CLUB.

I THINK IT IS TIME TO HAVE A BIG PEOPLES TALK ABOUT THE CLUB AND HOW IT IS GOING.

AND YES WE HAVE 100 PLUS MEMBERS BUT PEOPLE WHO DO NOT SHOW OR POST,ATTEND OR HELP AT ANY EVENTS

well said Bill,I cann't agree with u any more.
I also feel if the committee want to let off some steam about non attended
maybe they should get in contact with these other 100 or so member
Find out why these member's are not showing up for any event the club is having
I don't understand why the club has life ,honorary member if they don't show up to any event's
We can all learn from it.Improve the club, but not by shooting ya mouth off in here

The club is only hurting themself, especial if new memebr jump on here and read all this shit

And if ya wondering where I have been???
Well, some silly member had a go at my partner about "NOT SUPPORT THE CLUB"
only because I bring my own soft drink to the smasa show which was my chair as well
I will get over it,once I cool down

Well I do appoligise for not turning up. I have been on the Forum trying to get members to come along to the Quiz night and also placed the scroller up the top of the Forum to try and get a few more to come along. I did get ready to come down. But looked at the forum about half hour before I was going to leave. And the amount of people that had said they were attending didnt increase by much at all. So sorry again but I thought with that amount of members it would be canceled. And I was not going to drive all that way to find I only had to turn back and go home again.

I would not worry it seems to be this time of year for some reason that things slow down a bit. Yes I know it cost the Club money and that's not good at all. But hey it will pick up again. Don't worry.

Forget this one and go onto getting te next event organised. But really push it. I have noticed just lately, And I am not having a go at anyone at all about this. But I have noticed lately that an event gets put up on the forum, And then gets forgottten till the last minute. These events need to be pushed for at least a solid 1 month before to make sure people know and are getting themselves. Organised.

Cheers Hope all the next events go off well for the Club.

Well guys I have just jumped on this morning to see whats happening on the forum, I have to say as a new paid member to the club & i joined cos you all seem like nice people etc I hate to see all the political crap. Thats not what we want as part of a car club.

I think we can all agree that the long weekend didnt help, i have only been a paid member for two weeks & have a bad injury atm and had fringe committments last night (i didnt know the quiz night existed till i saw the scroll bar) so sorry for being a paid member and not coming.

I think that the committee has their right to be pretty Jacked off but at the same time I think it should be dealt with in house and a plan put into action on how to get the events to be more successful!

I know my opinion probably isnt welcome as I am new and have associated much with you all but its not exactly the kind of stuff that is going to attract new members.

we all love Holdens clearly, your all good people so lets work out how to get a better future for the club.

Hi all i wasnt having ago at anybody in general ok i was stating that we have all these members and their was so few that turned out ok i can understand long weekend we all have other shit we probably organised but all it takes is letting pazz know if your not attending before the event and i know some of you did that and thats great but having so so many its bit depressing i like this club alot better then some other ones out their cause they are what would you say more into hooning. i would like to do some of these events aswell so these people that dont attend ruin it for some of us that want to do the cruise or paint ball or quiz nite or even go karts. as for pulling membership if thats how you feel well i cant tell you what to do but dont get pissed read my post before getting anoid with it or me im stating as a paid member how i feel ok im not attacking anyone so please dont take this as a personal judgement ok i have made some really great friends from this club and love annoying some of you haha so im just hoping to meet more of our club members and see their rides. Surprised

Emmz....your opinion is as valid as anyone elses on here ........so you have only been a paid member for 2 weeks ???? big deal.......the fact that you are a PAID member, means that this club also now belongs to you.......I am also getting sick and tired of all the political bullshit that keeps being posted on this forum......Any potential new member who comes on here looking for information, is going to firstly see ALL of this primary school ( i wont be ya best friend if you dont ) mentality, and then secondly, go find themselves another club......

A lot of you members dont know exactly how much planning goes on behind the scenes to organise these events and car shows for you to attend.....I along with pazz, lea, jason kim, mark auzzie etc, give up our weekends and weeknights, to hold meetings about event organisation and yes I live at Prospect and drive all the way to Pazz's at Munno Para West.....so it's not exactly a 2 minute drive for me there and back.......so it costs me my petrol and my time to help plan and organise events for you guys to attend to.....

At the end of the day, if people put as much energy into promoting the positives of this club as they do focusing on the negatives we would be moving ahead in leaps and bounds !!!!!

And Mario who cares if janice brings her own soft drink.?????? I certainly dont buddy, you promote the club in other ways like obtaining the new sponsor,so I think with the savings you have gotten us from this new automotive sponsor, a few bucks worth of soft drinks ain't gunna mean jack SH*T !!!!!!!, you have supported the club in an even bigger way........

And finally my last comment to Bill.......for what you wrote in your above post shows the passion and dedication this club needs to thrive.......only thing I cant say in response to your post buddy is :
