Commodore Owners Car Club has been approached by Ben Vice President of the Brisbane Commodore Club. He was suggesting that the Clubs Affiliate and link Forums together for Club members only and we can have Dyno Days that we compete with each other, Even though we are in different states.
What is your Thoughts
Ben

As cliff said, we have extended an offer to you, to become affiliated with us, our club has just moved to a new forum, which we are still setting up, but getting there. with our new setup, no one can post, unless you are a club member, or a validated forum member (meaning you must have met 1 admin member and 1 club member who both vouch for you) we are offering the paying members off the Commodore Owners Car Club of SA, the same access as a validated forum member, meaning you can post and view everything on the forums.
Ill give you a quick run down on our club, we were established back in 2004, we have won the street commodores cruise for charity best club award 3 years back to back, and only just missed out the past 2 years, we have won several other best club awards, and we also boast several cars that have made it into the street commodores magazine.
As cliff said, one idea is to have a dyno day on the same day, and we could run an interclub dyno comp, and we dont need to limit it to dyno's, we can do sound off's, drag runs etc.
Our club also has car of the month, where our members nominate members cars to partake, and the first 4 members to accept nomination are then put to poll to decide the car of the month... we could look at having an inter club car of the month as well.
if anyone is interested, check us out at www.brisbanecommodore.com (you will not be able to post even once signed up, unless you are a paying club member, or validated which from SA would be hard lol) but if you guys vote yes to being affiliated with us, we can then validate your accounts.
I look forward to hearing your result. Regards , Ben

A Video of our meet and greet we recently had. Our numbers were down as alot of people had to work, and the location was a bit far for some, but was still a top day. Enjoy

Thats not a bad turn out Ben and it looks like everyone was havng a good time. Sorry it is taking so long to get organised down this end. But this is our busiest time of the year. With all the car shows and other events. No weekends free at the moment.
I did notice there was 2 voted No to the Affiliation. Would really like to know why. Come on people we would like to know your thoughts on this. Cheers

Good Idea if we all join together we can share ideas, thoughts and hopefully try to have combined events maybe. Who knows an event like the Australian Commodore Nationals.
