i just bought my first commo just to palm off to someone and make a few dollars, took it for a drive the other day (since i had a friend drive it home) and was absolutely lost as to why they are popular they dont have f... all power (the only reason they even do burnouts is from the ratios) the sitting position is way to high the front is aswell hardly any feel comes back to the driver overall crap as i was sure before i bought it.that vh or whatever it is with 155rkw after spending 10k is crap ive seen stock 351 clevelands do that.just thought id let everyone know im into toyotas and fords.the 3.4 litre im using in my 67 rolla has more power than a vp commo and its been around since 1987.but im sure your all going to start telling each other how holden is better than anything, you guys are being ripped off by your own favorite company.even my stock tickford fairlane put out 174kw standard.

And you come on here admitting that you drive a 2 story Victa !!!!!!......An don't get me started on the Fairlane.....Ford had to stop producing them because they simply didnt sell....And when they did sell, it was idiots who compare corolla's and fairlane's to the Commodore....(clueless, brainless twats like yourself who were dumb enough to buy them)........seriously buddy you need to find a new knitting pattern, sit down with a nice cup of tea, a crossword book and ya pet pomeranian, and leave the car modding to the REAL Enthusiasts......you think fords are so great tell me how they havent managed to get rid of the Trusty front end squeek....sounds like a sherman tank and squeeks constantly and as loud as a hookers mattress.....TOOL

Who opened the toolbox scratch

Is there any evidence of your statement "brocky was a p..f" twice married & 3 children I think not Evil or Very Mad

Prehaps you could join a failane or corolla apprecation club/forum (if one exists) and if you had a glass or two of Metamucil you would find your seating position would be more comfortable cheers

Nice intro by the way Wink

Certainly entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong or childish it might be.

But no swearing or slander will be tolerated, your post and ones quoting it have been modified to suit forum rules.

Further breaches will be dealt with as necessary

Personally, I drive a VP Berlina, and proud of it. Might not be the best car ever built, like you seem to be stating when referring to your 'toy'ota but hey, its my car, my first car and I will always see it as an extension of who I am.

give this guy credit where credit is due (oh sorry there is no due credit )

your a tool and you should be as you need tools to constantly repair the toy motor or the fraud unfairlane .

if you come on a holden commodore forum and bag holdens you have to expect retaliation.

now why dont you go call a tow truck so you can get home with your ford.

I was sorta thinkin the same thing when we bought an old R31 skyline for $500. Was just a stock rb30 5spd with a worn LSD, but it went hard and took corners a lot better then the ol' VH's. Few years difference between them tho. Also when pulling the dash out is was a time consuming task as it's all in there mounted better. Overall it seemed like a better built car. Only downside is parts for them are expensive, and they don't come in a V8....so that was enuf to keep us driving Commodore's lol.

I miss that old girl. If it didn't have rust in some pretty bad spots we prolly would of kept it.

You're trying to say that we're idiots? You bought a car you don't like..... Obviously without test driving it. Who's the idiot? IDIOT.

You could have bought a car that YOU like, palm it off, just to make a few dollars.

Sounds like you do too much "palming" off!!!!
