with out looking at either cars

how many km has the vr done and what condition is it in
is the vt a genuine gts or a moke up
i would be looking it at this way

how much money will you need to fix the vt to be at the same standard as your VR or even better
if i decide to sell the vt will i get more profit from it then the vr
at the end of the day its your decision but what does you intial gut feeeling say

Thanks Telf ss my vr is 134,000ks auto new bushes and all orginal and needs brakes on the front and valley gasket done but other then that she is fine. The Vt GTR is front bumper damaged rear bumper quater panel crushed pushing it on the passenger door causing it to be scratched and engine mounts apparently need to be done but motor jumps when braking not when rev car and their very pushy on wanting to deal right their and then wont event think bout it seems funny to me and they have done 194,000ks plus was member of RCK so mmm very not sure think its probably not a good idea Question

my honest opinion...you would be a bloody idiot to go ahead with the swap.....a former RCK member.....well there's ya 1st warning.......wanting to swap then and there would be ya 2nd warning......have you done a vehicle check on it at all ????.....it could be under finance, or it could even be stolen......and the fact they wanted to swap there and then would have alarm bells ringing right away......your VR is reasonably straight, and needs new brakes and a valley gasket......you are often complaining you are broke/have no job etc, so why would you want to swap for a car with major panel damage, and a motor that jumps around in the engine bay when you hit the brakes.....you would not be able to drive it until the engine mounts were fixed, anything up to $500 to get both done, coz I for one wouldnt be too happy if you slammed into me because something went wrong whilst driving around with a broken mount makin the motor hop around in the bay......then you have the panel damage to contend with....front and rear bumpers, then painting of the replacements, then the 1/4 panel damage.....then pray to god you dont find anything else wrong with it......so far you are lookin at a couple of grand to repair/repaint.....etc......it's better the devil you know than the devil you dont..........
