what a great start to a monday morning NOT
left home 6.20 am went to servo got some iced coffee
6.25 am travelled along victoria road toward port adelaide to go over the new bridge and at 6.30am stopped at red light behind 2 cars.

lights change to green first car takes off followed by second and me first car gets to centre of intersecion and slams brakes on for no reason second car just missed his ass end but unfortunately i didnt miss the second cars rear bumper now the stato has $900 worth of damage to the front bumper and looks like crap.

the car that caused this was some shit box which i didnt get the number of but he knew exactly what had happened, before he drove off he gave a wave and tooted the horn, pitty i was out of the car by then or i would have rammed the fu**er off the road.

anyway my insurance is taking care of it from here and the car i hit is taking his in to see if there is much damage he said he would let me know.

Sry to hear mate. I hate Adelaide traffic, everytime we go there I'm nervous and just waiting for sumfin to happen. It's always Brad driving (me little bro) and I'm in the passenger seat (still no licence), just about gotta rip me fingernails outta the dashboard when we're finally on Port Wakefield road heading out lol.

I guess everyone was alright after the prang? It's good u have insurance.....the guy in the shit box prolly didn't, which could be why he legged it.

Come to think of it, the first driver could possibly only be charged with failing to stop at an accident (if the cops caught up with him). As u hit the 2nd car from behind, I think that would mean ur at fault.....that's just the way it works I rekon.....could be wrong tho, but that's how it use to be a few years ago.

Wouldn't stress to much about it tho, these things happen to everyone, and as long as u got insurance there's nothing to worry about.

All bloody cars etc on the road should have compulsory insurance to me and keep the shitboxes off the road so if you can afford insurance then keep off the bloody road!!!

Sorry to hear Dave hope its all fixed soon and will look even better m8.

bummer dude aleast its not a write off sort of crash, sucks when people change there mind and don't give others time to react, but the law states your at fault as you hit the other car, consider yourself lucky the person you hit isn't claiming personal injury like whip lash coz thats even more excess.

in a few weeks it will be back to normal and a fresh shine to the front end.
