| I assume it's the whole light. Will send him a msg and make sure tho. They sold now and not sure how much it will cost to get another set coz apparently it was a "xmas special". Tried having a look for the option codes off the net but couldn't find them listed anywhere. The suspension is FE2 tho, I know that one lol. Got the 20's on it now. |

| Looks sweet-as! BUT- Either get rid of those tail lights, or preferrably- get a colour coded VX boot garnish and monaro styled headlights. Like the 20's better than the old mags. |

| Ahhh the old 304. Can see a polishing project there !
Nice ride there Danny. Good to see the old traditional 5 Litre in a club members ride. They make a very nice note when attached to a sports system, especially if you introduce a header to the mix.

| Thx for the comments guys. A mate sent me a msg this mornin saying he has some tail lights, so will see how much he wants for them. Might not worry bout the tinted ones yet. Cash is tight for a few weeks until I get the important things outta the way like new tyres lol. The 18's are pretty much brand new with no gutter rash, scratches or anything (odd for a chick driver lol), and tyres are still decent...thinkin bout selling them to fund new tyres for the 20's.....but not sure if I really want to yet, might hang onto them for a little while. Oh and she has a sweet note! It has Advance Headers into a twin X-Force system! |

| Short vid I made of the exhaust note. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiALW8g47Vg Bought a "headlight restoration kit" from Repco, didn't do a bad job. Prolly could have spent a bit more time on it, but it turned out pretty good. Before and after. The passenger strut top looked a bit rooted, so changed them both. Old and the new. 2 new tyres, will see how these go and if they're not to bad I'll save up for 2 more. New deck to replace the crusty original one. Also made a harness to go from VT to JVC. The "off the shelf" ones had the wrong plug for the deck for some reason. Haven't finished it yet tho, still gotta tape up the wires. Few pics from the other day. Got VX tail lights in it at the moment. Will paint up the VX garnish black, then tint the tail lights and see how it looks. |

| Looks nice man. Two suggestions. Lower the front just a tad to have the tyre and guard meet. And get orig VT lights. Rims look awesome. If only they fit my car lol id offer ya some coin for em. |

| I might get superlows to go all round I think. Alot of VT's I've seen here have them and they don't look toooo bad. It's got FE2 at the moment, but yeah still sits on the high side. Think I'll get pump up shocks for the back, atleast then we can change the ride height in the bum. We'll see how we go with funds tho.
I'm gonna paint up the new garnish black, then tint the tail lights so hopefully will look ok. Apparently a good way to do it is spray clear with a bit of black mixed in, so might give that a shot I rekon. Then put about 5-6 coats of straight clear on afterwards so I can polish it up so it's shiny as!
Might do it next week I rekon, will post up pics of the results. |
