| Seems the other thread which Jack started has gone missing, so thought I'd start me own. Here's the wagz just after I bought it off Jack. Ripping the ol 202 out. Donor car...new donk for the VK. Bout to drop the VK down onto the EFI donk. All bolted in. Ready to rego! C4C8 We went for a Holiday to Mannum....took the wagz of course. Built up another motor for it. Same motor, just decided to go carby (can't get the EFI tuned in time) coz there's a burnout comp coming up so thought we'd go thrash the guts outta it!!! Can't wait!! Hopefully crack 190-200rwkw. The wagz is now without a motor again....hopefully chuck the new one in within the next few days and have it running veeeery soon! | |

| Got the motor in and running. Didn't go no where near as good as the last motor I built for the other wagz. On the dyno it started off by pulling a lousy 135rwkw lol. Seeing that made me wanna drive the thing off the wharf and forget about it lol. After jetting it up a fair bit to compensate for the shit poocomp manifold, it ended up pulling 163rwkw. Still disappointed, but not to bad for a near stock motor. Bought my first set of brand new mags, some 20x8" BSA 291's. Only had them on the car for a week, decided to take them off and now they're decoration in my bedroom.....I missed not being able to drive on back roads. So now it's back on stockies with hub caps. Less attention that way to as well. And I've now slept in the back of it as well....was the most comfortable camping trip I've ever had!! haha! Also chucked the towbar back on it so now we can launch the boat. The motor seems to have loosened up a bit now, and it flogs along pretty good, so depending on funds I might go to Kadina on Saturday and chuck it on the dyno. LMG Performance will be at Read's Mechanical doing $50 dyno runs....anyone from COCC gonna go for a spin? | |

We haven't been into fishing for long. But one thing I've learnt is ya gotta find a good spot. No use pulling up in a random spot and hoping for the best, altho it could work, but chances are you'll go home hungry lol. Gotta decide wat fish ya goin for, then choose the right bait, rig and location and go for it. When we use to pull up at a random spot and chuck a line in, we were almost garunteed to get heaps of shittys, but yeah catching them gets old real quick, I'd rather get 2-3 nice whiting then 50 shittys lol. Gotta replace a small bit on the motor, then as soon as that's done we'll go out and try bagging out on squid, that's my goal at the moment. Our first trip we got 23 but took about 10 hours to get them, the last few trips we got 10-15 over about 6 hours....apparently this time a year they're still coming in, and do get a bit thicker.

| Took it for a spin to Kadina the other day and chucked it on the dyno at Read's Mechanical during their dyno display. Pulled 164rwkw this time lol. He rekons the motor loves to rev, but the power drops off suddenly and sounds like she starts valve bouncing. So I guess if I wanna make more power with this setup I should dial in the cam and chuck some better springs in it (using crane LT1's which I bought new for this motor). Used the same type of springs on me old motor which done better then this motor (pulled 174rwkw with smaller cam and less compression), but I think the old one made more coz the cam was slightly smaller and had a little less lift so the springs would of coped better.
But not gonna worry bout changing them. When I chuck the EFI back on it prolly won't even rev over 6k anyway so they'll be fine then.
