| Well I am sad to say that the tint on the wagon has gone off ! It hasn't done the bubble effect but has done a weird ripple effect on a few windows especially since last summer. I'm seeing our "Tint-a-car" guy in Salisbury tomorrow to get the old stuff taken off and replaced with the bestest tint around i.e. Formual 1. Since summer is done and dusted they are offering a dam good deal when compared to other "Tint-a-car" dealers. | |

| Wat's it worth down there to get ya windows tinted. I think here it's about $300 for a wagon, is that price half decent? | |

| They are charging $80 to remove the old film and $345 for Formula 1 or $295 for Midnight Express. I rang the same mob at Queenstown and they were at least $80 more, though they would match the price, but I'l give the money to our guy in Salisbury | |

| FYI... I'm happy with they way it turned out. It's a bit darker than before and without the wobblies etc it looks great vision wise | |

| Hi Pazz, yeh I'd post some pics but I don't think they would do the tint/windows justice i.e Idon't have any good before and after shots. You'l nned to wait for the Kadina run ???? | |

| As suggested by the Tint guy I replaced the front door window weather seals as he was concerned that because the felt had worn off the top of the seals the tint will peel back from the edge over time. I was lucky with the seals as I got a drvers side and the last LHS in stock ($25 per side). They just sit in the door frame by sheer grip, but I had to use silicon spray (magic stuff) to allow the glass to fit neatly in their guides as they were wound up because being new they forced the glass to run out of their guides as the closed. Cheers Ron | |
