Geez it took $100 to find out last weekend that after all of these years the wags had been chipped cheers I installed the modified chip I got off the net and when installed it idled at 1700 rpm and blew all of the dust out of the garage! Anyway it CLUNKED into drive at 1,000 rpm and when I took it for a spin I found out that if the cruze control ever died that at this idle rpm the car sits nicely at 60 km/h !!!. Anyway the guy on the net has been good at tryng tp help me out, but when he asked me to suss out what the memcal should look lke, mine was different as it had "KM 3388" where the bog standards ones should have had a piece of foil stuck over the eprom i.e. my memcal looks like this

Also the other revealing thing was what was written under the blue cover of the memcal as well.....

So it looks as if 8 years ago or so before I bought the wags the previous owner must have spent quite a few dollars in those days gettng the memcal modifed ???

Good ideas Pazz. A bit of Autosol and the Dremel, a small buffing wheel and those legs on those chips and eprom should come up a treat !
