A bit of an update...picked up a set of chrome VY mirrors for the stato....These are only available as an option (and an expensive one at that) through Holden and are mainly only sold on the Buick's and Chev's going to Asia and the Middle East.
Also picked up a Sony MEX-DV1000 DVD head unit to go with my roof mounted screen..
mirrors were a straight bolt up replacement for the existing WH mirrors....am stoked with the way they look on the car...

Cheers guys- Yep been a while. Working nightshift to fund the VP , working on the VP, and chasing up people working on parts of the VP...

Poor things in soooo many pieces....the single garage is chockas....

not a lot happening in the update stakes, am saving my $$$ for an OTRCAI, then I can get a tune done....only thing I have done was to paint the Wiper washer jets, as mine had started to go powdery, so painted them the same colour as the car...only a small detail but makes such a big improvement !!!!

Well on the Weekend I decided to have a go at fitting my Stereo . all went in without any dramas.....and my god is it loud lol !!!!...all that's left to do is fit the roof mounted TFT LCD Screen.

just a small update, was unhappy with the gap that existed between the radio pocket and the woodgrain surround, so moved the radio from the bottom to the top and placed the radio pocket under the radio....gap is now non existent...also scored a bargain on ebay for my vinyl cutter....90 metres of vinyl (45 metres per roll) for $70 the pair....I normally pay $7.00 per metre, so do the math..lol....scored burgundy,white,teal and black....so 180 metres all up for $140 ....normally would have cost me $1260 !!!...have got some new stickers on the go, one is already on my back window....

So, are you already selling these Andy??
Also, just out of interest, how much did your exhaust system set you back? Is it cat back, or full system??

I got a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust, with X-pipes........instead of H-pipes.......$520 all up, bud

no ash, complete exhausts on regency rd at kilkenny.....he used to work for his dad who owns the exhaust place on the corner of port and south roads...then he went out on his own....only 24 but sure knows his stuff !!!!

Well a bit of an update.......had her dyno'd on Saturday morning, and pulled a very respectable 186.2 Kws and 249.9 HP, which considering the only modification so far is a 2.5" Catback twin Exhaust, is a very good starting point I Think...

This afternoon I decided to add another unique touch, by retrofitting a VZ Sunglasses holder into the rooflining......Came up pretty damn good if I do say so myself !!!!!!

Looks fantastic Andy!! Very clean sweet looking unit!! Good to see Adelaides weather hasn't changed much!

cheers scotty, and no it hasnt changed a bit.......yesterday was 25 degrees, sunny as all crap and then got up this morning to this !!!!

That's the lad, might be a young fella but certainly knows his stuff !!!!

well had a bit of spare time yesterday so started paintin some bit uner the bonnet, did the fuse cover and the brake fluid reservoir, and aslo started on the blue led dash conversion...am happy with the climate control, clock,gear selector etc but not with the instrument cluster,the light spread on the cluster shows too many hot spots so am waiting on some different leds to arrive which give a better light spread, hopefully this will eliminate the hot spots.....
