as some of you are aware my alternator bit the big one and was a general pain in the preverbial

went out today and got a recon one from just commodore spares on south rd

$175.00 inc change over

rang around first

REPCO $298.00 (new)
sprint auto $214 RECO
motor traders $210 RECO
and the laugh and a half was HOLDEN $356.45 i nearly shat when he told me that. (new)

so if you need one get it from just commodore spares its a damn lot cheaper than anywhere else.

all they do is put a new regulator in if the bearings sound ok lol you got ripped, went through this a while ago. the only way you would come out on top is if the bearings where stuffed

well if you can get one cheaper good on you this was the cheapest i could find as stated

Don't know what all the fuss is about
I had to pay $1350 for a starter motor for the truck,un fitted of course
truck servive $480(I'll supplie my own oil and filter
$156 for some cable,that I still trying to work out what it for
No wonder I am so broke

not in mine either mariothats why we go to that place called work.

well installed new alternator today works fine.

while i was at it replaced top radiator hose as i replaced bottom one last week

flushed the system and added new coolant hope thats all i have to do for the next few weeks as i now have to shell out $770.00 for rego and insurance.
