| Was a good cruise i thought the questions were really well thought out i had a good day. Thought there was gonna b a few more cars considering the list of people attending on Facebook. The only thing i had an issue with was waiting so long at the first meet point for lunch majority of people arrived between 11 and 1130 and the committee members who were in charge of the BBQ didn't arrive till 1230 meaning people were waiting well over an hour going on two by the time the BBQ was cooked. The only other thing was that no members came and introduced themselves to me or interact with anyone else except the ones they normally would. I'm not wanting to start arguments just giving my opinion and the way i saw things. Other then that was a good cruise which we enjoyed just a few things to maybe looking at improving Cheers Aaron | |

| Thanks for the feedback Aaron. The original plan was for me to go straight to Autobarn to say hello and then off to the BBQ stop to get set up. Was going to start cooking as soon as the first car arrived but after mine let me down nothing else went to plan after that.
We quite often get caught up in these cryptic cruises organising things and answering queries that we forget to get around and chat with everyone. I do apologise as this is definitely something we have been trying to improve.
Glad you had an overall good day though. Hope to see you at another event soon. | |

| Not wanting to start an argument either Aaron, but there is also nothing stopping you from coming up to members and saying " Hi i'm Aaron" .........you don't have to wait for us to introduce ourselves to you, you are more than welcome to come and introduce yourself to us !!!
we sit in a pretty big group, and dont bite, it's a lot easier to get to know someone if they are a part of that main group, rather than they sit 30 metres away by themselves.....
On that note Aaron, I personally welcome you and hope you will introduce yourself to us on the next cruise so as we can get to know you better bud.....
As for the BBQ, I can only apologise, as wesaid before, things didnt go our way in the morning, and the electric BBQ's were about as slow as a wet week, so it was a little out of our control, but in the end, the Barbie was cooked and everyone got to eat.........cheers Andy

| Well i like cryptic cruises but through the city was dangerous for the fact we where dtriing and stopping etc in traffic, food for thought stay out of the metro area.
I understand that there was a delay pazz but someone else should have taken over and headed to the midway point the day ended up very long. lucky the baby sitter was not on hourly rate.
I had a few people come up to myself but as Aaron said we are strangers in this club (which we don't want to be part of full time) so your memberships co ordinator could be coming around to introduce or point out people maybe. dosent bother me to much just a thought.
there was some good effort put into the day with a few refinements and comments taken on board then the next might be a bit better.
also might be worth using ribbions at each stop to ensure we go to all locations (they don't have to be at the answer just location.
FOR ALL THOSE READING THIS, IT WAS A GOOD DAY AND IF YOU DIDN'T GO, YOU SHOULD HAVE.
P.S. the dyno day was another good day but again yjr club had a perfect oppertunity to raise more members or advertise the clubs events or monthly meetings . club shirts on committee people and a little more public speaking would help at there events.

| Had a good day, Love the Cryptic Cruises. But I must agree with Ryan on this point that keeping the Cryptic Cruise outside the metro area. Its to dangerous. Apart from that I had a good day with my filthy car lol no time to clean it as was up at 6.30am working on Robs new VN before we could come to the cruise. Look forward to the next one... And Congratulations to the winners well done.......... |

| I'm sorry ryan that I cant be in 2 places at once........As you have read above, people were complaining that it took too long for lunch to be served, I was also cooking the BBQ.......bit hard to cook a BBQ and interact with others .......you guys chose to sit away from our main group at both the bbq point and the villi's stop, so what are we meant to do ?????
As for the dyno day I had to leave to go and pick my Grandaughter up, so wasnt there for most of the day......
And when you do try and interact , some people just turn their backs and walk away..... |

| you are right in some respects Andy we could come to you yes but i believe we were already sitting at the table when you and the other committee members arrived so on that part i believe it would of been polite for you to come and socialize with us and at villis there was no room for us to b able to join the main group and no attempt was made to even make room for us. All in all was a good day would of been good for a few more cars and was well thought out. | |

| The way I look at it is this. This is the first time we have had a cryptic like this since I joined the club so any feedback is a good thing. As always we will take every comment on board and make the next one a much bigger and better event.
With the decision to make this a cryptic cruise only made 3 weeks ago I reckon we did quite well for a first go.
Would also have liked to have more cars and done a staggered start so you couldnt follow someone else and have the questions in a different order on every sheet but time just got away from us.
Looking at doing a much bigger one for our christmas cruise so hopefully everything we learned from this one will make that one much better.
We had both the dyno day and this cruise advertised on facebook and the forum, the dyno day was posted on other forums as well but when we found out we had a 30 car limit I took the posts off the other forums. As more and more people see that our cruises and events are a fun thing to attend then we will keep getting more people out.
All we need is if you had a good time at something then say so...either on the forums or FB...if you didnt then tell us why
climbing off my soapbox now lol

All in all was a good day would of been good for a few more cars and was well thought out. no worries at all Aaron, comments taken onboard for future reference.....my only argument to that point was as soon as I arrived I started cooking lunch so if I had hung around socialising, would have been in more crap for lunch taking possibly 3 hrs !!! lol |

| Cryptic Cruise was good, took a few wrong turns & ended up getting lost a couple of times, I must confess I cheated were I could....... don't look so shocked. Airport & IKEA was a little tricky to navigate around. but for the most, it was planed well, with a good turn out of some very nice looking Commodores. |
