24 carat gold sump plugs

Getting lazy in my day and thought how handy it would be to buy a spare sump plug so that when I drop it in the pan with 5kg's of oil on top I could just grab the spare use it and dig out the other one later over a few beers (any excuse for a beer I say !). Well went to Shmits of Port Adelaide and they quoted the official Holden price of $25 !!!!!!. I asked if I could have the 9 carat version but they didn't make one. Now Pazz do Repco make a cheaper gold plated one instead or even a mild steel one that I could polish, yeh polish what a fantastic idea !!!!!!

Well if your after things to polish i could say something but wont and second my vr has lots of bits needing polish if keen and my new manifold needs bit more of polishing

Far out Ron, my last LS1 plug cost me about $8 i think with a seal.

Yes repco do sump plugs...from memory all under the $10 mark

although i'm pretty sure i saw a titanium/unobtanium alloy version for around the $100 mark...adds 50 killawasps to ya donk and makes the car .0000001 grams lighter...also contains helium so when it slips out of ya fingers it just floats around near the sump for easy reinstall
