The Tri Five Classics Associaton Inc. are putting on the 28th Annual GM Day Show and Shine

Sunday March 27th 2011

Tanunda Oval, Barrossa Valley


Vehicles that are to be 'Judged' have to be pre entered by March 18th
Cost is $10 per car

If you wish to enter on the day u may do so, but you will only be classed as display only.
GM Day Plaques are also available through pre entry only.

Entrants welcome from 8:30am, Public from 10am
Entry fee for Public: Adults $5, Families $10, Concession $3

hey guys put me down for this one unless i have the car in pieces cuz im trying to sell few things to pay off my vy ss seats and then trying to fit them lol grrr i h8 so many shows in start year wangted pull it off and try overhaul the rear end but might av2 wait till mid year now lol

Sorry guys but I am out of this one for 2 reasons........A/. this back of mine is slowly getting worse, and with the colder weather setting in it has only compounded my pain levels, and B/. I just realised this event is being run by the Tri 5's association, who I have a personal beef with , because of the way they muscled in on the 55,56,57 club, in what was basically a military style takeover.......some good friends of mine were hurt big time with these circumstances and I will not be supporting any event run by the Tri 5's club.....

Great day, though a tad cool to begin with (I knew I should have bought my moonshine along !) and good to have a chin wag with all the club members that were there, as well as that guy (and others) who came up to see the dunny door and expressed his amazing interest in everything about VS Commodore wagons (my new friend) We even exchanged contact details so watch out for my new forum topic "Rons wagon and everything you need to know about them" Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

One more quick one about the GM day, was there a judge checking out the cars in our neck of the woods as I didn't recall seeing one scrutenising the cars though I did wander away from time to time

I know I was busy polishing the windows mouldings, roof racks, door chrome mouldings and various garnishes, dash board, head lights, tail lights, rims, rocker, throttle, injector and throttle body (did them twice !) covers as well as using the old magic brush for the velour interior and brushed the grass off the tyres on the day to take pics, but will there be any posted

at least someone managed to find a way to keep warm Was a good day with some very nice cars.
