Pazz – Vice President:
Thanks to everyone who came out to metro Holden. Great turnout, and was a great day. Not very good exposure, but still a great day.

At the last committee meeting, we came up with a lot of ideas to take the club forward. Some of you may have seen the new May pricing for new members. Half price for all new memberships. Please refer to the forum for more information.

Looking at a much wider range of events. Looking at the Colin grove show n shine. Good exposure for the club. If you want to try your car out, you can but there is no insurance.

Paintballing is certainly on the cards, but unfortunately interest seems to fall apart over time...

Mini golf is on the cards, as well as a zoo trip for the club.

Short overnight stay in early November at Wallaroo for fishing etc. Good cruise there and back and great for members!

As far as meetings go, we are going to ask sponsors to support us by providing information and/or small promotional items to the members who come.

Doing a lot of work for advertising. A promotional video is being produced for the club. It is being professionally being done in a studio and will be used on the website as well as club show n shines. It will get free show time on Ace.

Repco are thinking of doing a show n shine on the 23rd of May. They have a device that can check your cars weight distribution and balance and it is a gold coin donation. Probably cannot wear the old shirts as they advertise Autobarn.

Looking for ideas for the Christmas breakup. Christine thinks we should do fancy dress.

Jason has been working on a mini flyer. That way we can inform people about our club to new potential members instead of just giving out a membership form.

Due to the current economic status, we are going to do more with the sponsors, instead of asking for money from them. Such things include show n shines and discount cards for club members.

Going to try and get sponsors dependant on location, so that we could have sponsors all over Adelaide.

John Hnatowych - Secretary:
Committee meeting was a great way to get new ideas for the club.

Kim - Treasurer:

Jason – Events Co-ordinator:
Had feedback Metro Holden, thanked us for being polite when leaving the grounds. They enjoyed us being there, and were very impressed with a lot of the mods. We had one of the guys who went around and judged, and came up with 3 cars who won. Gavin 1st, Mark parsons 2nd, Rob 3rd.

Go carts were canceled due to only 5 people wanting to attend. This was far too low. It may be run later on in the year.

Christine stated that the Monaro Car Club are thinking of joining with another club for Go carts.

On the 30th of May we have bowling night. We need more people to join up to this event. We have opened up to family and friends so if they'd like to come along they are more than welcome. Its $35 to bowl, to those who want to come along and eat and watch its $20.

June - 6th and 7th of June, Shannon Nationals. Not sure how much it will cost. The event will be about the same as last year, but the truck races are not on.

Kadina is on the same weekend, and many people are going. The club is going to subsidise $15 for entry as we have a club show. Meeting at 6am at the Caltex at Boliver.

Steve – Cruise Co-ordinator:
Cryptic Cruise on the Sunday 17th of May, leaves at 10:30am from the Mile End Bunnings. Its going to be a big round trip.

Pazz - Newsletter:
If anyone has a suggestion to put in the newsletter, please let us know. Kim has suggested a photo of Steve's head.

General business:
Kim:
Some of you have received their boxes of chocolates, you have 4 weeks to get the money. Chocolates are sold at $1 each.

If anyone else wants more, speak to Kim as she needs to order them 12 at a time.

Jason:
We have polo shirts and pit crew shirts and hats for sale. Please contact Jason or Kim to order.
$20 for hats
$50 for polo shirts
$60 for jumpers
$120 for jackets

Gavin:
Club is starting to get back on track, so we should use the money we have in the bank to support our existing club members.

Pazz:
We are starting to put more effort into support of our club members for events and sponsorships.

Pazz has shown the club members who attended the prototype version of the promotional video.
