Its a 2002 S2 VX R8 has had a cam package done, fuel system and a few other little bits a pieces currently makes around 280rwkws. I have a new engine on the way in the form of a 383 stroker being built by a workshop down lonsdale way. | |

| Thanks for the welcome guys, Yes the new 6.3 ltr or 383 is for the clubby. Its been a long a drawn out process to get to the stage Im at now (Most engine parts polished) and waiting on parts, but its starting to come together now. I enjoy working on the parts of the car that I can and putting that bit of extra care into the areas that a payed mechanic wont do, saves some $ too so why not. Some parts ready for the 383 that I have polished at home. And the harrop 8 t-body Im currently working on. | |

| Thanks for comments guys, Yeah I try and do as much as I can myself. Hi tom lol I get the same 24hrs in a day just like everyone else and by the time ive done 60hrs a week at work it is sometimes hard to push myself to do an hour or two here and there but its getting there slowly and then I start trade school in a few weeks time so will make it a bit harder to fit things in. How you been anyway? | |

| I was at the engine builders yesterday and the block is back from the machine shop and assembly of the bottom end can now start, a couple of pics of some of the parts we are using. Forged 11.8 pistons will end up with around 11.4 after set-up these weigh 375 grams each very light. Forged rods. 4340 Forged 4" crank. Comp cam specs are 248/254 at 112. Shaft mount roller rockers. Hes taking his time so should have bottom end built over the next two weeks. | |
