| Was a great day, would have liked to get a few more members out but not a bad turnout overall. Massive thanks to Willall Racing for putting this on for us. I am pleased to announce that they have now signed up as a sponsor for the club.
Will post up pics and results later on. Will also do a DVD of this event with everyone's photos and videos so if you have any from the day can you please get them to me
cheers Pazz | |

It is widely accepted that you dyno any car in the gear that is closest too 1:1. That is 3rd in an auto or 4th in a manual commodore. All the cars were strapped as well to get more consistent results. As for being down 38RWKW? There are many variables. What brand of dyno was it on before? What temp was it? Was it strapped? Ambient temperature and intake temps play a HUGE roll in power production. I made note when dynoing your car that the intake temps were in the mid to high 40's the whole time. Generally anything over 40 degrees and ignition timing will be reduced to keep detonation at bay in a LS1. I would say that 90% of your power loss is due to the ambient temp / intake temps and dyno differences would be the rest. And on a side note my car and my partners car were both down 15 - 20 RWKW over previous bests..... The intake temps were to blame for this when compared to previous dynos. Hope this helps, Gareth | |

| Looked like it was a good day! We were down that way on Sunday and Monday.....if only I didn't work Saturday nights and we could of come on Saturday....even had the race car with us too....coulda chucked that on to see if there's much different with the new trans, stally and new bearings in the bottom end. But being a different dyno I suppose it won't give us much indication....still would of been good to come for a look tho. | |
