Black Beauty's Demise

Hi everyone.


I'm sad to inform you that tonight at around 11pm, Black Beauty was involved in a serious crash on Glen Osmond Road.

I was turning right onto Fullarton Road, and as I was in mid turn, a car of which was running a yellow light as well, hit me on my front left panel at the full speed limit (60km/h)...And now I have half of a VH SL/E Commodore...

The car is an absolute writeoff, there's nothing that can describe how bad it is...The engine mounts all snapped and the motor was on te road...Axle snapped, wheels were off, steering column came right out and the wheel hit me in the face, windscreen shattered everywhere along with passenger window (again)...

I am uninsured, so I will have to cover the 1980s ford laser that hit me...Lucky it's not worth anything special. I will be moving to Darwin within the next few weeks to work for my dad in car sales (the offer's been there a while) so that I may afford t pay for all these expenses and buy myself a shiny new SL/E.

I will need anyone who is in the right position to help me with the storage of my 253 motor, of which is at Pazz's currently. I'm determined to put it back into my new commodore when I shall return in around 6 months time. I will be stripping most components out of Black beauty, and will be putting them up for grabs if anyone needs some bits and pieces.

I assume that i'll be leaving Adelaide in roughly 4 weeks. Stuff could turn around by then, but at the moment it doesn't look too promising. I just got home from the hospital, I'm fine. Just some pain on my face, legs and chest.

OH...Forgot to mention. I lost my license as well. Apparently I wasn't giving way. Going to go on good behavior though, so should be alright. Yeah I'm alright, in a lot of pain, but they gave me pain killers. I decided to go home because I felt decent enough, and really felt like a drink.

Sry to hear mate. These things happen tho so don't stress to much. Could of been worse, someone could of died or u could of hit a brand new bmw or sumfin lol.

I once got hit buy a 1985 Ford Laser that ran a yellow or red light, when I had my VN.

Want go into the accident but I was told I was in the wrong.
