Comments made me laugh...There were a few fails in there, just sayin'.

I dunno about ridiculous, though they did call a Lancer a Subaru. Does point to them not giving a damn about facts.
The way they've used the terms 'car enthusiasts' and 'hoons' together is a concern and undermining those that actually care about their cars and do the right thing.


I agree 100% with cars being defected for things that affect safety. I don't have a problem with it at all.

What I don't like is cops handing out defects for anything that's "not standard".
Even when thing's you've done comply with any of the current laws/ADR's/NCOP or even if you have an engineers report, it doesn't seem to matter.
If a cop thinks it's not standard then you have to fork out the $$ just to prove it is not an actual problem.
THAT is a cash-grab and unfair. You do the right thing and still get screwed for it...
