Far out Trev you have been busy mate. Must say love the colour you painted the motor looks great. And the trans came up a treat to hey, Also love your new username VCSLE1, hmmm sound somewhat a little familiar LOL VHSLE-1.

That engine bay is coming up a treat Trev, Had a silly thought, I was going to say buff it right up and metal polish it then clear it, But thats just dumb on my behalf LOL sorry just a thought that flew through my head.

Gee I wish I had the time and patients to do what you are doing. I have trouble even doing one thing on my car these days. I got the bonnet sanded and primed thats it.

Keep up the good work Trev its going to come along great.

I have tried this type of work before havnt I Cliff with the old vb i had until I found the Cancer in it that was a DOH moment for sure!!!!!!

Yeah it is a good feeling to know you did it yourself. Been a while since I have done that. Last time I did that was when I was about 20 when I did my HR Premier from ground up.

Time and money is the problem. Anyway Trev keep it up mate it will be well worth it in the end Im sure. Like your VS is very neat.

Its coming along Trev. Filled lots of hole hey? Gunna be as smoth as a babies bum when its all sanded and painted hey? Good work mate. coming along nicely mate.

Well its been awhile been bloody hot too but slowly getting things under way again on the sl/e bogged and sanded abit more in the engine bay and primed the bog areas now i have to putty up the smaller holes prime the bay top coat and clear it

In this bloody weather Trev the Body filler would be hardening as soon as you started mixing in the hardener.......doesn't give you a huge window of opportunity to work with mate......looking good though pal !!!!!

Cheers Andy yeah thats why I have been putting in small amounts of hardner so it takes a little longer to set but she will come along very slowly

Undercoated the bay today just a few touch ups to go now, then on with the colour

well rust proof the inner firewall, kickpanels & some of the floor and the final touch ups in the bay no more screwing around with putty and crap colour will be going on tomorrow as soon as i finish rubbing back the last lot of the putty

Well colour went on today pretty happy with the outcome also rust proofed the inner guards now time to lightly rub back the colour then on with the clear

Looking good Trev. Not sure what colour it is as being colour blind makes it hard. Is it green??? I think it is. ANyway mate top job coming along nicely.
