| Looking good Pazz. I remember when back in 300 BC during my xmas holidays when I was going to what was know as the South Australian Institute of Technology apert from making seat springs at GM, I was also doing spot welding and some of that work was putting those very battery cradles together ! | |

| So I can blame you for the ludicrous number of spot welds holding the tray in then? Small update, had a meeting after work so only spent a little bit of time on it. Got the other battery in and made up battery cables. Just need to solder the ends of the cables and tighten everything down but it all works. The cover over the wheel well is going to be in 2 parts, a hinged section over the batteries ( you can see in the photos where the divider is ) and a lift out or hinged section in the storage part. My question is once I have everything mounted should I paint inside the battery part all black and shiny, use bling bling terminals and make it all look good in there and then make the cover partially see thru. Would make a bit of a feature of the batteries but i'm not sure how it would look. Give me some thoughts guys cheers Pazz | |

| My Dad has a power hacksaw which can make quick work of the spare tire and rim so it can fit in that wheel well | |

| Well I decided seeing as I had the cold air tray sitting there I would whack it on and see if it made any difference. And after being very surprised at how much better the car goes once its warmed up and doing more than 60kph I put my thinking cap on and came up with an idea. Fibreglass still needs finishing off to make it smooth etc and not sure how long the plexiglass will stay clean and not warp etc but i'm very happy with the way it turned out. Had to get a swivel thermostat housing and new top hose but got there in the end. This way I get the advantage of the tray without losing the effect of the work in the bay. cheers Pazz | |

| Looks really nice Pazz without the base in the tray and if it still improves the performance, even better | |

| Probably hard to tell from the photos but the base has been replaced by perspex so it is still the same effect as the full tray
